Marketing Operations Manager (Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Marketing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our marketing systems, automation workflows, and campaign execution. This role is perfect for someone who loves building processes, integrating tools, and ensuring seamless collaboration between marketing, sales, and creative teams.
You will be responsible for managing marketing technology platforms, creating efficient automation systems, and maintaining the smooth operation of our marketing campaigns.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Operations Manager will have five primary roles, broken down into key responsibilities. They are:
Marketing Technology Management
- Oversee the configuration, integration, and optimization of Zapier, ActiveCampaign, Asana, and WordPress.
- Build and maintain automated workflows between marketing, sales, and customer success platforms.
- Manage website updates, landing pages, and content publishing in WordPress.
Campaign Execution and Automation
- Design, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns in ActiveCampaign.
- Build Zapier automations to streamline repetitive tasks and improve data flow between platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop campaign assets and ensure timely launches.
Project and Task Management
- Coordinate cross-functional projects in Asana, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Track progress, manage resources, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Data and Performance Analysis
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend optimization strategies.
- Ensure CRM and marketing data is accurate and up to date.
Process Improvement
- Audit and document marketing workflows for scalability and efficiency
- Recommend and implement best practices for marketing automation and project management
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related roles
- Proven hands-on experience with Zapier, ActiveCampaign, Asana, and WordPress.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and data integration.
- Experience in email marketing best practices and website content management.
- Excellent project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly.

- Preferred:
- Experience with Google Analytics, Meta Ads, or SEO tools.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for light website editing.
- Familiarity with nonprofits
TIMING, LOCATION AND COMPENSATION
Better Together seeks to fill this position as soon as possible. The organization’s headquarters are in Naples, Florida, but all the Better Together staff reside in Florida.
